WORKSHOPS

Botanical Photography

As an experienced botanical surveyor, I aim to provide workshops that enable people who love plants to find and photograph some of our huge range of interesting local species.

Workshops will be suitable for beginners and for those more experienced, and a range of supplementary equipment will be available for you to try. Computers and processing software and tuition will be provided in the evenings. Workshops will normally be for three days, with two nights accommodation, although some smaller, one or two day events are also being planned. Being small group workshops, we have the flexibility to tailor activities to your needs to a much larger extent than with a large group.

The workshops will be for no more than four people, and will be a mixture of field visits, editing and processing in our studio, and discussion and feedback. Accommodation will be arranged (where required) by us, either at our property or at local B&Bs. All transport during the workshop will be provided, as will pick-up and drop off at train and bus stations at the beginning and end of your stay.

Most workshops will take place in between April and July, although we may run a small number of workshops before that.

If you are interested in attending a workshop, please get in touch. Alternatively, keep an eye on this website and my blog, as more details will be posted nearer the time.
